The Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership has appointed a new Independent Chair, Professor Stephen Eames.
Stephen Eames will be joining the Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership (HCV Partnership) in a part-time capacity from June 2019 as its Independent Chair. Working alongside the current Partnership lead Andrew Burnell (CEO of City Healthcare Partnership CIC), he will help the partners to continue the great work and build on recent achievements. Stephen will take on this role while continuing as System Lead for North Cumbria IHCS, Chief Executive of North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust and Chief Executive of the Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Stephen brings a great deal of experience in leading a current Integrated Care System (ICS) and delivering on major change and service improvement initiatives across systems and key partners.
Andrew Burnell, HCV Partnership Lead and Chief Executive of City Healthcare Partnership CIC, said: “The addition of an Independent Chair with Stephen’s experience and insights to our Executive Group and Partnership will, I am certain, help HCV to continue its work in developing quality, safe and sustainable health and care services and further assist in augmenting our positive collaborative efforts across the Partnership.”
Stephen Eames, Independent Chair of HCV Partnership, System Lead for North Cumbria IHCS, Chief Executive of North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust and Chief Executive of the Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, said: “I am really excited about getting involved in the good work that the Humber, Coast and Vale Partnership is doing.
