The joint Ministry of Defence (MOD) and NHS health centre development in Catterick Garrison is taking shape.
The steel frame of the Catterick Integrated Care Centre (CICC) is now in place, marking another milestone in the joint project.
After a successful round of community engagement events in the spring, key NHS and MOD partners will be joined by representatives from building contractor, Tilbury Douglas, for another series of roadshows this month.
The dates, times and locations of these events are:
- Thursday 24 October, 9am to 2pm – Richmond Indoor Market, DL10 4QL.
- Thursday 24October, 3pm to 6pm – Catterick Library/Leisure Centre, DL9 3EL.
- Friday 25 October, 4pm to 7pm – Tesco, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3EN.
The aim of the roadshows is to:
- Provide information, raise awareness, and continue conversations around the services going into the CICC, the progress of the build, and the timescales.
- Provide opportunities for people to ask questions, share concerns or provide feedback.
- Provide opportunities for people to sign up to a CICC stakeholder distribution list so they can receive further information and involvement opportunities in the future.
The NHS and MOD were able to develop a comprehensive list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) after the last round of roadshow events and they are now on the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership website at www.humberandnorthyorkshire.org.uk/locations/north-yorkshire/our-work/catterick-integrated-care-centre-cicc/catterick-integrated-care-centre-cicc-frequently-asked-questions/
The building is expected to be completed in Spring 2026 with medical services moving in later in the year.
