People across North Yorkshire, York, and Teesside, County Durham and Darlington, are being asked to share their views to help improve future mental health and learning disability services in the region.
Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) re-launched its listening campaign, Our Big Conversation, and is asking people to share their thoughts, ideas and insights to help improve the quality of care it provides for patients, carers and families.
TEWV says it’s important it hears from as many people as possible, to help the Trust build a clearer picture of the big actions they need to make to improve its services in the future.
People have until Friday 2 August 2024 to get involved. In August 2020 when the campaign was first launched, more than 2,100 people shared 35,800 ideas, comments and votes.
This year the Trust is asking four key questions:
1. Our journey so far
What are the things we’ve done well over the last few years to improve the experience we provide to people in our care, families and carers, our colleagues and our partners?
2. Improving the experience of people in our care and their families and carers.
What big things should we start, stop or change to deliver an exceptional experience to people in our care, their families and carers?
3. Improving the experience of our colleagues
What big things should we start, stop or change to deliver an exceptional experience to our colleagues?
4. Improving the experience of our partners
What big things should we start, stop or change to be a great partner? Please join in this important conversation by visiting Our Big Conversation website at www.tewv.nhs.uk/OBC and help shape future plans for mental health and learning disability services across our region.
