The Humber, Coast and Vale Mental Health Partnership is hosting its first ever partnership-wide conference on Friday (15th November) – to celebrate the fantastic work taking place in mental health across our region.
The inaugural Celebrating Mental Health in Partnership Conference takes place at the lakeside Conference Centre in York between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
The event will showcase examples of partnership working in mental health across Humber, Coast and Vale, and celebrate the many successes which have been achieved as result of this collaborative working.
This includes the Mental Health Partnership’s nomination in the System Leadership Initiative of the Year category at the 2019 Health Service Journal Awards.
Keynote speakers at Friday’s conference include Claire Murdoch, NHS England’s National Mental Health Director, and Paul Jenkins, Chair of NHS Confederation’s Mental Health Network.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops on implementing the NHS Long Term Plan in Humber, Coast and Vale and the Partnership’s key priority areas, including suicide prevention, crisis and liaison, adult eating disorders, community mental health, perinatal mental health and children’s and young people’s mental health.
