Refreshing our identity to reflect a new name and purpose

Our work to develop our Integrated Care System is taking place in many ways, in many places and with many people working hard to turn our shared vision into reality. Thank you to everyone.

As we grow closer to the proposed date for Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) to be established on 1 July 2022 (subject to royal assent and legal commencement of the Health and Care Act) we have been giving consideration to our ICS identity. The existing Humber, Coast and Vale (HCV) Health and Care Partnership name will be replaced with Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.

The new name has given us the opportunity to refresh our identity to reflect the new name and to underline the purpose of the partnership. We think that our team have created a brand mark that represents our partnership, working together, to create a healthier, happier communities.

Right now, work is under way to build a website to reflect the new name. The website will support our governance requirements by archiving key documents relating to the work of Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership. It will provide Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) contact details, information for the media and other stakeholders and showcase the work taking place across the partnership to improve patient outcomes.

A further section of the website will be dedicated to the Integrated Care Board (ICB) providing information on the role and responsibilities of the board, board papers, declaration of interests and other statutory elements. The Humber and North Yorkshire NHS Integrated Care Board will be an NHS body and be identified by the highly respected NHS logo.

So, look out for the new identity from 1 April. Clearly, our branding refresh will be underpinned by a communications plan to introduce the brand to stakeholders and the public.

We hope you like it and that the bright new format will reflect our shared commitment to success for our ICS.
