VCSE Collaborative update

The VCSE Collaborative’s vision is to enable the potential and impact of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector to be realised by being fully integrated into the planning, design and delivery of health and care across Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY).

The VCSE Collaborative meet on a bi-monthly basis. Following each meeting they share an overview of the discussions with the wider system and VCSE sector to provide an update on the Collaborative’s activities.

During the meeting, the VCSE Collaborative welcomed Professor Tony Chapman from Durham University to share the initial findings from a piece of research, which was conducted with the VCSE sector across Humber and North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. The research explores the size and breadth of the VCSE sector and its contribution.

The update also provides an overview of the ‘180 Days of Action on Workforce’ programme; providing links to the storybook and short video about the progress made.
