System Leaders Programmes

Supporting our future leaders to truly transform health and care

To thrive as a system, there is an ongoing need to share talent by creating a systemwide, inclusive and co-ordinated talent management model, which is why we are delighted to share with you three new and exciting development programmes.

These programmes are intended to encourage colleagues from across Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY) to discover their own strengths and fulfil their ambitions of becoming future system leaders, with a key focus on addressing the lack of diversity we see from middle to senior management.

Each programme is designed to prepare participants for the next step of their career journey, equipping us with the skills to truly transform health and care across our system.

Who the programmes are for

All three programmes are open to all colleagues working in all sectors of health and care in HNY, including:

  • NHS hospital, community and mental health trusts
  • Primary care (general practice, opthalmology, pharmacy and dentistry)
  • Social care (independent sector and local authorities)
  • Local authorities
  • Voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE)

For more information about the programmes and eligibility, please see the sections below.
