I am delighted to launch our Humber, Coast and Vale Digital Fast Forward Plan which sets out our digital ambitions, plans and opportunities for the Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership (ICS).
This new, exciting Digital Fast Forward Plan has been developed by all partner organisations in our ICS which have come together on the digital agenda with passion, determination and talent to unleash our potential and ambitions for digital in our ICS, building on past successes.
Throughout this pandemic the collaboration amongst all partners on digital has been magnificent… while very demanding and very tough, we have delivered fantastic solutions and prepared this new exciting digital strategy at pace.
We have received strong support from all the executive members for our strategy and plans, with everyone right behind our ambitions for the short, medium and long term.
We have made a great start, but we are well aware there is a huge task ahead for us in delivering on our plans and rapidly strengthening our interoperability, modernising some of our major and critical digital infrastructure and securing much-needed increased capital and revenue resources.
We are rightly proud of our achievements so far and our new ambitious Digital Fast Forward Plan sets out our collective plans which we are excited about delivering upon.
Our ICS is maturing strongly along with our two sub-systems (York/North Yorkshire and Humber) and digital will continue to play an even more critical role in the future.
We continue to work strongly, confidently and collaboratively with local government and the NHS regional team which share our ambitions and acknowledge how far we have come in a short period of time.
