The next stage of our Covid-19 response will throw up many challenges but we will continue to work together and plan together as a collective – this is the power of the Partnership.

The impacts of this outbreak will be felt for many months and years to come and potentially in ways that we don’t expect. Amid this changing landscape, colleagues across the Partnership are working together to plan and implement the next phase of our Covid-19 response.

The next stage of our response to Covid-19 within our Integrated Care System (ICS) will include putting in place ways to bring back some services that have been paused due to the increased demand on our hospitals due to Covid-19.

This will be gradual and we will need to work together across the region to ensure we can do this in a way that is safe and effective for all concerned. You can find out a bit more by watching this short animation, which explains what we are trying to achieve during this next phase of our response.

We are also planning for an increase in demand for our mental health services. Whilst it will take some time to fully understand the mental health impacts of Covid-19 on our workforce and our communities, we are working to support our staff and communities throughout this difficult time.

Across the Partnership we are continuing to encourage and support people to do everything they can to keep well and look after themselves. Support and advice on staying well is available from Every Mind Matters and you can find information about where to get help here.

We are also taking the opportunity this week to promote the online mental health resources for children and young people that are now available across the whole of Humber, Coast and Vale thanks to the collaborative work of partners through the Mental Health programme. The online support tool Kooth is now available for anyone aged 11-25 who needs help and support in our region.

During this mental health awareness week, I’d also like to encourage each of you to be kind to yourself.
